Richard is survived by his mother, Sofia Stierl, brother Michael (Ursula) Stierl, sisters Sophia (David) Santos, Katie (Gary) Grindley, Maria (Don) Lynne and Rosie (Cliff) Schultz, large extended family, and his special close friend, Herby Fairbanks.

Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2005 in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
