At somebody's feet.

Hey, kittens, could you do me a favor? Could you recommend some things to me? And by "things", I mean "whatever": Books, movies, games, sex toys, poets, music, LJ users, recipes, cosmetics, websites . . . you know, "whatever."

'Kay, thanks, 'preciate it.

Ohohoho, boozy plum compote. I'm crossing everything I can right now against the possibility that I'm allergic to plums, peaches, and apricots. Seems that these things are sort of related to almonds and hazelnuts.

Oh, and your turn:

Almond-stuffed dates coated in dark, dark chocolate; french pressed-coffee with lavender flowers mixed in with the grounds, rosewater -- which you can get cheap at any middle eastern/indian grocer -- and some drops of your favorite essential oils in a cheapo spray bottle for hair/body/musty apartment; the Three Colors trilogy (Bleu, Blanc, and Rouge); The Black Crabs (a deliciously fucked-up local rockabilly trio); pomegranate juice as a mixer; oh, and Vicki's full-fashioned nylons.

Those are great recommendations.

You've mentioned the Flametrick Subs enough to pique my interest and they're always in the back of my mind whenever I go on my checkbook-draining record store excursions. I haven't been able to find any of their albums up here, though, so I'm going to see if I can sweet-talk the kids at Easy Street into acquiring some.

I've heard of them, but I've not heard them. Now I feel compelled to remedy that.

Yeah! You don't want to know how many times I've read Valencia and The Chelsea Whistle. Her prose is crazy addictive.
