I forgot that last show was tonight, an' I fuckin live here. I like The Woods but I essentially stopped paying attention to 'em a few years ago. A bunch of my friends HATED The Woods because all of those lovely, fuzzy, feedback-laden tracks made for a very different sort of concert experience. It's a cool bunch of songs but you can't mosh to "Let's Call It Love" now can you?

I can see how The Woods wouldn't make for the most manic live show. The last time I saw 'em was whenever One Beat came out. At the Crystal. The swarms of hyper teenage girls sort of did in my desire to keep seeing 'em. I didn't even plan on getting The Woods until even my most jaded anti-SK friends told me they were kinda impressed by it.

Once, a lassie named Beebo
Donned the sassiest glasses in Toledo
Till a banshee named Corin
Screamed "BEEBS, PUT DOWN THAT AXE!"
Then Sally said, fuck it, let's dance.
On the other hand, I make a killer hot chocolate.
