Background info on your character:
Once there was a little boy who was destined to grow up and become the most feared Jedi in the galaxy. This is not his story.
Before the infamous Darth Vader became a Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious had another apprentice, Darth Maul. He was a fierce and deadly warrior, skilled in the use of the Dark Side of the Force, and he carried out his master's orders without question. Maul's entire body was covered in red and black tattoos. He had a circle of horns on his head, almost like a crown. He dressed all in black, and carried a double-bladed, red lightsaber. In contrast to his barbaric appearance, he spoke in a very clear and cultured voice, and was apparently intelligent and educated.
Not much is known about Maul. He was apparently taken to be trained by Sidious at a very young age, and no trace of his original name and background remained. Sidious trained him to ignore pain, fear, and doubt. He was molded into a perfect killing tool, all in preparation for the day when the Sith would take over the galaxy.
Prior to the events of 'The Phantom Menace', Maul was sent on various errands by Sidious, usually to eliminate anyone who might stand in the way of the Sith Lord's plans. Although Maul followed his orders without hesitation, he would rather have been fighting the Jedi. He had trained for that fight his whole life, and he secretly felt his other duties were a waste of his time and talents. Maul had no doubt that when the time came, the two Sith would be more than a match for the entire Jedi order. He went into every battle assuming he would be victorious (and most of the time he was). Even the occasional setback couldn't shake his confidence in his skills.
Finally Sidious ordered Maul to act openly against the Jedi. Two Jedi, Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, were attempting to escort the Queen of Naboo to safety. Sidious sent Maul to intercept them.
Maul first attacked the Jedi on Tatooine, but they managed to escape. Maul was then sent to Naboo, where Sidious's allies had taken control of the planet. Maul faced the Jedi again when the resistance forces attempted to re-take the palace. Maul appeared to have no trouble taking on two Jedi by himself.
As they dueled in the palace's generator complex, Maul managed to separate the Jedi, thanks to a convenient plot device series of energy gates. He fought Jinn first, and eventually impaled him. Maul then took on Kenobi. Although Maul was able to disarm Kenobi and push him into an energy shaft, his overconfidence was his undoing. While Kenobi hung helplessly on the side of the shaft, Maul stopped to gloat, apparently content to wait for the Jedi to fall to his death. Instead, Kenobi managed to re-focus himself and call his master's lightsaber to his hand as he jumped up and out of the shaft. He sliced Maul in half, and Maul's body fell into the shaft.
Also, what they were doing when they got pulled to the island, any relations with anyone else? Etc) Maul arrives on the island just after he was killed by Obi-Wan on Naboo.

I do not recognize this location. Is this still Naboo? I appear to be unharmed, although the last thing I remember... Unimportant. What is important is determining my whereabouts and contacting my master.
Odd. The communicator on my control unit appears to function, but I cannot pick up any signals. I don't see any signs of civilization here, although I sense several higher-level life forms nearby.
Perhaps this is a test. My master has tested me before. I must have failed in my mission. I killed the Jedi master, but the apprentice may have escaped. Perhaps I must prove my worth again, either by surviving here for some period of time, or by finding my way off this planet and returning to Lord Sidious.
Or perhaps this is some Jedi trick.
No matter. I will head toward the life forms. Once I know where I am, I can decide how to proceed. I will not fail again.
