Watching CNN today, with the Closed Captioning on.

Wolfe Blitzer was talking about the whole spying-on-Americans thing, and he said "eavesdropping".

The captions read: "Eebs dropping".

Heh.

Eebs?

What's an eeb?

Sigh, oh dear... those frustrating captions. I'm deaf/hard of hearing and rely on the captions to understand fully what's being said on TV whenever I watch- so it SUCKS when those kinds of typos come up!

I always find a bunch more when they're trying to CC live broadcasts. Like tonight, I was watching "The Biggest Loser" live finale or something, and even though it had been previously recorded from back in December, the typos were horrible.

And I just added you to my f'list, so you'll probably be finding a lot more random posts. *laughs*
