Is your life that unfulfilling that you must know the origins of a behind the times (in relation to music taste) persons cut and pasted lyrics?

1: I got into a war I can never win.
Where the nightmare never ends
And I don't know what I'm saying
Got into a war with reality
That motherfucker it was waiting for me
And I lost again!
Suicidal Tendencies - Lost Again.  Quite possibly the best ST song next to Possessed To Skate or How Will I Laugh Tomorrow.

2: Save yourself, save yourself
Stop the madness save yourself
Go blow your brains out with a gun
Try it out, it's loads of fun... it's not like I'm recommending it, though
S.O.D.(Stormtroopers Of Death) - The Crackhead Song.  Oh Billy Milano, was S.O.D. a front for you sarcastic humour or a front for your jaded view on race/homosexuality/women etc.  Seeing as you cried and got all pissy over the Anthrax boys not having you in their Behind The Music special, I guess we can only assume.  At least, you kept your A material for S.O.D. and went under the guise of M.O.D. to slap together filler.

3: Complain, complain, life sucks anyway
It it's all so hard let them take it all away.
Why the competition?
Why stress to death?
Be happy with what you have
Most have so much less
I hope some day we realize how good it really is.
Youth Brigade - I Hate My Life.  They never were a straight-edge band, you were thinkig of DC.

4: I remember you always looking out for me
Putting me on your shoulders so I could see
Being the best brother you knew how to be
I can still feel you you looking out for me
And it makes me smile to know you're still watching over me
98 Mute - Watch Over Me.  The next best thing to Bro Hymn, regarding a tribute to Jason Thirsk.

5: Is it so wrong to wanna make a difference?
I'd like to think there's no excuse
Is it a crime to want things better for yourself?
How you wanna live is up to you
Pennywise - It's Up To You

6: I will be singing the same year in, year out
And come into your head like a motherfucking earthquake
Raised Fist - Stronger Than Ever

9: Spiderman thought he was bad
He was screwing my day up
He was bothering my girlfriend
He tried to con her out of seventy dollars
Wesley Willis - I Whipped Spiderman's Ass

10: Maybe it's my ape drape
Or hippies in my band
But now we only tour in Arizona
Or Japan
The Vandals - Aging Orange

11: Moved out to the Australian land
It was 1955 and he had himself a plan
Didn't include a tobacco addiction
Or popular thought on immigrant restriction
H-Block101 - Workers Wage

12: I linger late at night waiting for the bus
No amount of neon jazz could hide the oozing vibes of death
Dead Kennedys - This Could Be Anywhere.  More bands sounding like this, not sounding like One Dollar Short or not screaming like girls into a microphone in tight pants and bad haircuts angsting about angels/blood/burning ashes to recycled Iron Maiden leads drop tuned and chugga chugga added to claim as their own and call it 'metalcore'.. please.  What, me bitter?  Not at all!

13: Kathy had two kids already
And an abortion is what she chose
Christian showed her a bloody fetus
She said "That's fine, I'll have one of those."
Jello Biafra - Will The Fetus Be Aborted.  An 'homage' to Will The Circle Be Broken.

14: He asked this old lady, "Yo, yo, um...is this Kentucky Fried?"
The lady said "Yeah", smiled and he smiled back
He gave a quarter and his order, small fries, Big Mac!
Run-D.M.C. - You Be Illin'  God damn I wish Jam Master Hay was still alive today.

15: If you try to knock me you'll get mocked
I'll stir fry you in my wok
Your knees'll start shaking and your fingers pop
Like a pinch on the neck of Mr. Spock
Beastie Boys - Intergalactic

16: Feel the freeze burn skin
Salt your open wounds
A burning desire clears your eyes
A willful air fills your lungs
Neurosis - Burn.  Have I access to a discman and headphones, I go to sleep listening to Neurosis and have fucked up dreams.

17:I don't need no one to put a gun to my head
No, I can do that better than anyone else
Oh, things are working out pretty good for me
Cause I'm the greatest suicide machine
No Fun At All - Suicide Machine

18: Now here's the pitch
Hiding inside certified genocide
Ain't that a Bush, repeat ain't that a Bush?
Out of nowhere headed to the hot house
Killed 135 at the last count
Texas Bounce! Texas Bounce!
Public Enemy - Son Of A Bush.  PE and KRS-One keep me thinking that hip hop is sometimes about something worthwhile instead of bling bling nigga ho word up platinum bentley yo etc.

19:The silent stray inertia
No burden on my back
No determinance, no ballast
No chance of looking back
Bad Religion - The Fast Life.  The New America is not as bad an album as believed.  It would have helped though if everyone got 17 tracks like the German release, though..

20: The lights are on, the stage is set for failure
In your minds I will burn in effigy forever
BoySetsFire - Curtain Call

21: Replacing love with rage
Now we're filled with hate
Mourning our lost days
The truth we can't accept
We choose not to face
Ensign - Fallen

22: Ever hear about that guy in New York whose dick
Fell off in the bath after he shot it full of coke
It's OK to run out of butter in Zambia
Just smear squashed caterpillars on your toast
Waiter, there's a terrorist in my soup
Which came first- Max Headroom or Gerald Ford?
Are you a man or are you a mouse
If you love your fun- Die for it
LARD - The Power Of Lard.  I have no time for people who don't have room for Jello.

23:  I feel like a cow in the field
Awaiting to be fed my last meal
Thrall - Get Up And Go To Work

24: Don't speak to me of lovers, with a broken heart.
You wanna know what can really tear you apart?
I'm going out to the barn, will I never stop in pain?
I'm going out to the barn, to hang myself in shame.
Violent Femmes - Country Death Song

25: They sell me short, shatter my ambitions
They buy me out.. that's the wrong description
They buy me off,  I've got ammunition
Thats what they want from me
But what we want is free
Articles Of Faith - What We Want Is Free

On another note, it has occurred to me that apart from the Slumlords and possibly one or two other bands, there is no band I particularly like that formed later than the late nineties.  It's not that I am adamant about hating new music, I really hope I grow to like more new bands.  But at this stage in time, most of what I hear whether from radio, friends, shows or personal research I find either angst-ridden/whining, redundant, recycled or just plain mediocre.
