Everyone has their secret shames, or are closet fans of something or someone. Some people secretly love a film they will not admit to, some love doing activities which they will deny to their graves. Mine are predominantly music based.
DS' super secret music closet fandom - vol.1
Description
A futuristic science experiment gone horribly awry. Obnoxiously cute Japanese trio claiming to hail from planet Kero Kero. Psychadelic, space rock, jazz fusion, jagged alternating vocal harmonies, sugary synthesiser pop, punk, prog, epic/atmospheric, noise-rock, wavering 3 part acapella, borderline operatic vocals, often in the space of a single song. Live performances known to consist of several home-made costume changes in a single set, synchronised robot dancing and abundance of frog related items. Enthusiastic supporters include Mike Patton and Jello Biafra:
"eX-Girl are a beautiful example of information overload. Jagged 3 part vocal harmonies, adventurous arrangements, and songs that hook you like the sucker that you are. Take all of these treats, wrap it in an ultra-bright technicolor live show with surreal homemade costumes, and you've got the sensation of being strapped in on an out-of-control carnival ride that will leave you standing in line waiting for another turn." - Mike Patton
Alternative in every sense of the word.
Similar Artists: As a whole, none. In part - The B-52's, Le Tigre, David Bowie, Talking Heads, Frank Zappa, Devo.

vol.1 The End
If you're still reading this and feel your time has been wasted, ask yourself this: How often do you sit through post after post of others talking about what they had for lunch today or how they went to the same job/class/unemployment line/crack alley they always go to? PS- You're on the internet, you wasted your time long before!
