Yesterday, the Internet wasn't working at work so we were sent home early. I went to go pick up moving boxes because I'm moving. This weekend. I slowed to make a turn (signaling properly and all) and as I turned, I was hit from behind.

My car spun, hitting a car at the stop sign at the time and then my trunk ended up split against the stop sign

I'm very happy that you are okay! Please consider a doctor visit anyway just to "check things out" before you get to reckoning with insurance. And if you have to miss any work time (even just taking a personal day to go to the garage or doctor or whatever), keep a record of that, since insurance should cover that as well. I'm not the litigious type who believes in milking a situation for every penny, but this is a big hassle for you and you deserve to be compensated for your actual losses, at least.

2015 has been a shitty year for a lot of people I know. Here's hoping it improves.
