So very sad. I wanted to cry for Spike/Mina. To make love to the man you're in love with, wake up and find him gone, THEN have to deal with your period for the first time. On top of that, all of Patricks crap.
That girl just can't catch a break.

Yes, there are quite a bit of details. Some things will be resolved in the next chapter though so that may help clear up some of the things in this chapter, which will be good because I feel so bad about making Spike all confused. The poor boy needs a break but I'm not sure if clarifying things will help him or not. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

Oh wow...this is just such a beautifully textured, although I'll admit, I don't understand all of the layers just yet. I'm so frustrated for Angel and Spike, which is the point, I'm guessing, but anxious to figure out what the hex is happening with all of the Patrick/Sylenius stuff. Thanks for sharing! I used to just write "great job!" or the like, which don't get me wrong, I appreciate hearing, but once I started writing myself, having someone thoughtfully consider what I had written really meant a lot to me, so I just figured others would be like that, too. By the way, Sylenius is basically the guy who keeps appearing in Spike's dreams as his lover. Hope that helps.
