Yes, that kiss was one of my favorite parts as well. Angelus just makes me want to melt into a puddle of goo. He is perfect to be a King, isn't he?

Very interesting ficlet. Politics are a bitch. The royals may have had all the power, but they were confined by it as much as any of their subjects.

Will there be more of this? I'd love to see Spike defeat the evil king, free the damsel, and seduce the lad into his bed. :D

I think there will be more. I am working on it. But it may not turn out exactly as you think it will. Then again, when have any of my stories ever turned out like they should?

Poor King William, everything seems to go so bad for him. That flash back was so sad. And I'm actually feeling very sorry for Buffy too.

I know. It kinda surprised me that she made her way into the story. I guess she couldn't resist coming between the boys once again.
