It was supposed to be all hot sexiness but angst creeped up. Silly boys.

The sex scene was hot and made me curious how Angel would have gone if Spike didn't know it was him. I adored that Spike knew though and that their planning went out the window fast.

Thank you, sweetie!
You completely capture Spikes' inner William and how important books are to him. Angels' Angelus like plot complete with details to seduce Spike, taking the term bibliophile to a completely different level.
I really love books as well so i think i can understand how William feels. And isn't it every bibliophile's dream that they'll meet another fellow hot bibliophile sometime?
I knew that Spike got the nun angle too, lol.
Hehe. When i was thinking about possible Shakespeare stories and characters to use, the Isabella nun thing just called to me.
And put me down as another reader that got teary eyed (refuses to say outright crying) reading this.
Awwww...*sends the boys over to wipe your tears*

I originally was going to work the manip in as one of the sketches that Angel left in his notes to Spike but then the idea of silk bed sheets came up and i was sold. As for the quotes, i just had this thought that Spike would secretly love to verbally spar with someone through literature references. Hehe.
I also thought you captured their voices and vulnerabilities really well. Thank you for this terrific read.
Thank you, sweetie! I'm glad you like it.
