This is not good. I've just discovered that one of my favorite bands has decided to abandon their musical synergy. I am refering to Nickel Creek of course. Shawn, Sarah and Chris are precise and so wonderful when it comes to harmony. Not only that but they seem so happy when playing and singing together. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have absolutely no trouble seeing you plying your trade in a piano bar, or maybe one of those folks who play the grand piano in the lobby of hotels. You just seem to have the personality for it. As for Nickel Creek, it's sad but true that nothing that good lasts forever. If it's any consolation, my sister-in-law assures me they aren't nearly as good in person as they are on CD.

Show tunes? Do those types of places exist? I've often wondered whether or not the piano bar sceen was still around saving of course the pianist that sits in the lounge of a hotel etc. I have to say that I was in Nordstrom the other day, and they had a piano player right there inside the store! No--I don't shop there--was just walking around the mall with a friend.

I am not surprised that you have that gift because you are musical--you can sing and play guitar--which btw do you still do ever?
I think that you should go for it! Maybe you should find somewhere that would let you sing too--maybe play both instruments... Of course--it won't be the same as having two hot women singing with you!!! ****smile****

I'm sorry! That anonomous comment was me! Sorry about that! I thought that I was logged in and I wasn't so I posted the comment and then realized it and I hit my back browser and apparently it is stil there because it never took away the posted screen.
