A survey of sorts
This is not meant to be inflammatory in any sense, but after the discussion I've had in John's livejournal (which got more pointed than I had intended so I'll try to keep objective in asking this but I appreciate John's answers), I've become growingly curious.
How many people who actively (or passively) read my livejournal believe in God(s) (Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu etc) on the basis of blind* faith?
If so, why do you believe?
And
Atheists/Agnostics and so forth: What brought you to your conclusions or introduced doubt to you about religion?
*without tangible/observable/concrete evidence. Again, not meant to be derogatory.
You can be as detailed or as minimalist as you want with your answers. This question is merely to satisfy my own curiousity.
