Did you you have to tie all the strings in your model together? Looks like a lot of work. That's a great image.

I made it from plastic... plastic weld, melts the strands together.

I still have all my old models from grad school.

I ritualistically burn all my models... It became a neccesity in NYC because I was always moving, and living in tiny apartments...

But throwing those things out felt wrong... it was like they were being abandoned... however burning them is more sacrificial.

The model has become heat and energy, returned to the earth.
