Dood. That sucks. You should check the laws and file a complaint because it is NOT illegal to possess a pocketknife in public, and it is a violation for them to take these fingerprint/DNA samples when you did nothing wrong in the first place. We were just talking about this today -- don't ever flash your knife within London. Mace is illegal too.

The only way I could see them misinterpreting the situation is if the knife was of an illegal type, and you were brandishing it like you wanted to rumble.

Tuesday night there is some sort of cool cyb0rivet pub event in the city, perhaps we can go. At least the chick I met today said it was cool... i dunno.

I had forgotten to take my pocketknife out of my bag. And they let me into the house of parliament with it! WTF? It went thru the x-ray scanner too. mustabeen broken
