What better first post of the new year than a borderline hippie rant? Well, it's not really a rant, it's more like an e-mail I got from my aunt about antibacterial soap:

I recently took a tour of SF Wastewater System and found out that they really discourage using antibacterial soap. Reason? It contains Triclosan which is a form of pesticide ( Read more... )

Yeah, I don't really use antibacterial soaps, I usually just use whatever bar I have in the shower lol. I've really been trying to stop wasting so much water when I use the sink. I think I'll start paying more attention to it now. (that wasn't really a rant btw XD)

Yeah, every little bit helps.

Ugg Casey wastes so much water when she is washing her face or anything (she's probably responsible for 100 of those wasted gallons per year), and I always yell at her, but it's Casey so...

i read that there is a superbacteria, but that not using antibacterial soap won't help kill it or something.... meh, i dunno! i likes me my handmade soap from etsy :D
