And avoiding British-style emergency rooms. I've heard horror stories about 36 hour waiting periods.
And making sure that any government program doesn't include loopholes designed to let those who have the most effect lobbyists fleece the taxpayer.

The best solution (in my opinion) was John McCain's. He would have ended the system whereby you get subsidized health insurance from your employer. Instead, everyone would have gotten the same subsidy, whether you are employed, work for yourself, or are unemployed.
