I'd suggest trying to download, install and run the demo. If that one doesn't work either, you'll know that your computer doesn't really like the game.

BUT, if you're going to spend time on a game, you should play something else than Dungeon Lords... it has very bad reviews.

Why try running the demo when I have the full game...and I do not mean one that has been copied or burnt? Besides, I do not have any other games to play other than Sims 2 and I do not have anymore cash to waste on more games...(basically I still have presents to buy and I need the rest of the cash to hang out in Montreal the 14th, 15th and the 16th before I leave). That plus most of the games that you can download online are just plain annoying... The only possible saving grace is that Travis is going to give me his Neverwinter Nights with all the expansions and such for 40 bucks... he was going to give it to me for free...but I basically told him that he does not need to by my friendship... Anyways, I won't be able to get THAT game till after Christmas anyhow.

The CD might be scratched and might be making a bad copy of a certain file onto your hard drive... though usually installers will check for such errors.

Regardless, if you do try the demo, you have two outcomes:
- it works, which means your original cd probably has a problem
- it does the exact same thing, which means your computer doesn't support the game for whatever reason.

The demo is a whopping 300MB, so before you try that, I'd suggest you patch the game. Sometimes that helps.

You can also google something like "dungeon lords crash", you might find out what the problem is.
