I just wanted to share with you a little letter I wrote during my class because I was so flabbergasted....

Right now I'm watching Sex and the City. This isn't exactly news.

I mean I do watch this show so I can better understand women, but what is

notable is that I'm watching it FOR CLASS, DURING CLASS! This class is the most
insipid class ever

is this your anthropology gender class that you have with andrea? that would somewhat explain why, b/c they're mainly showing that women can be independent successful people that talk and love sex too. which is by culture supposed to be a man's thing.

Now see that would make some sense if there had been any kind of intro into it at all. Like "look at the cultural constructs of womanhood" or something but NO. We talked about what pop-culture is and what songs are popular and what songs aren't and then BOOM! we're watching S&tC.
