It's unusually nice in rural NH today too. I was out taking the dog for a walk and thinking that maybe...just maybe...we'd have an early spring this year.
Another sign of spring: Fears of getting stuck in the snow and ice have been replaced by fears of either A: Trashing one's suspension on the hellacious frost heaves, or B: Getting one's car stuck in the mud on one of our many fine dirt roads.
What is this??? First you guys out there get unusually good snow and make us all jealous, now you get unusually nice weather while march is all gross over here? Clearly I do need to get my butt out to the New England states.
And yes, I can identify with that a bit, the roads are more or less in shambles right now. Time to get the bike out to play 'dodge the potholes'.
We've actually had somewhat of a "snow drought" this year in the lowlands, but the mountains and ski areas have had plenty. So yeah, you should come out here and see this area sometime! I think you'd like it. It looks like we've got a whole week of nice spring weather ahead too!
