Waiting for the silver lining

The oh so bitter, bitter irony of it does not escape me. Here I was wondering if it was too soon for me and if I was ready to try again. Funny thing I decided that I am but she isn't. Go figure. The window isn't closed its just farther than I thought it was at first.

Love (or whatever you wanna call it at this point) is so damn complicated. I think the silver lining is that you only need to find it once. Or maybe a few times. But in any case, it not happening with a few people has absolutely no effect on whether it'll happen with that one person (or few people) later on. Is that even what a silver lining is? It's late for me; I don't know.

Love (or whatever most people call it) is barely definable at times. Genuine emotion is sometimes harder for a person to deal with. Then most people just lossly throw that term out for people to believe in. I never say it unless I mean it, although love has many facets to it. The "Silver Lining" is that which we believe is a brighter day and the possiblities of happiness that lay out before us. Sorry just my 50 cents.
