49 days. (yes AGAIN)
I'm still crazy for this drama. I've been listening to the OST nonstop. It's insane. I'm rewatching scenes and squealing all over. I bet if i rewatched EVERYTHIGN over again, I'd probably end up crying again.
Sigh.
But I'm rewatching the happy moments..

JHJ’s greatest, highest, everlasting kind of love in “49 Days” very moving
In the SBS Wed./Thu. drama “49 Days”, JHJ’s never-ending, greatest, highest kind of love makes viewers cry their hearts out.
In the May 19 final episode, Han Kang (JHJ) displays the kind of love for Ji-Hyun (NGR) that transcends death, a lingering, heart-rending kind of love.
When HK hears from Song Yi-Kyung that JH is near death, he says to her: “My most fervent wish is for JH to live, even if I will never see her again for the rest of my life. As long as she is alive, that’s all I want.” - revealing his deepest love and dearest wish.
HK hides his knowledge of JH’s impending death and goes on a picnic with JH, like two ordinary lovers. Both hide from the other their pain and enjoy their first and last date.
During the date, HK eyes JH’s every movement with this lingering look and makes a wish: “Please, God, let JH live by my side” - making viewers unable to watch anymore because their hearts are breaking.
After JH dies, HK says to her: “JH, even though I know everybody dies and I have to carry on living as one who hasn’t died, but because of those 49 days, I will live my life like it were only 49 days.” - confessing his true feelings hidden at the bottom of his heart.
Apart from this, HK also plays the role of “remembering backpack and shoes in SYK’s photo and discovering SYK and SJH are sisters”. Just like quietly solving all problems for JH all this time, he again plays the role of “savior”.
Audience’s reaction: “Even up to the very last HK has not given up on JH, demonstrating the everlasting kind of love - so sad!” ”Even though their love is not realized, it is just too beautiful!” “Haven’t seen a love that makes me sad and anxious and makes my heart ache so much in a long while. Although all HK gets from JH’s death is sorrow, but spending the rest of his life like those 49 days sets me thinking.”
