Was I... supposed to find that funny?
A guy gets drugged and married & groped against his will. Hilarious! Doesn't remind me of date rapes at all! Especially the scene where he was tied to a bed and she didn't let him go when the drug wore off! I think I cracked a rib, I was laughing so hard! And who could forget the ending where he was so understanding and she was portrayed as a sad little woobie!
Seriously, no. If it was a guy doing that to a girl, you can bet the SPN producers and whoevers wouldn't have thought it was funny. But of course, when it's a guy getting attacked by a pretty girl, it's instantly amusing.
The episode or storylines like that in general aren't triggering to me but I sure as hell don't think they're hilarious. I don't like watching or reading rape storylines, and I like them even less when I'm for some bizarre reason supposed to laugh at them.
