How're you holding up? It always hurts like hell to lose a pet. Hell, I still haven't quite forgiven my parents for putting my dog down while I was off at college, and that was more than 15 years ago.

I'm so, so sorry. My dad had to put down the dog we had growing up (also named Annie) this summer. There is a dalmatian up in doggie heaven looking for her name twin right now :]

I am so sorry. Losing a pet is never easy. It sounds like she lived a wonderful life full of love. Many of us have lost pets for various reasons so we know what you going through.
