Idk usually it means a hard time latching, which at 20# and 8mo is clearly not the case...but it looks like her front top teeth will gap? Its like the frenulum under her top lip attaches to her gum all the way down like between her teeth. Its thick too. Google it, its hard to explain- I'll try to take fotos tomorrow. Bahhh :(

Also I'm a bad mama because I hvent taken her for her 6mo well baby...and with all the flu, etc I really don't want to take her in. I might just make an appt with a ped dentist??

oh ok dr goog explained it. but it seems like if it wasn't bad enough to make nursing problems, how bad could it be? right? thinking positively?

well, she has the gap. and i thought how cute. never thought to look for anything else... til now. ill post a pic on fb next time she has a good cry lol.

we havent had any bf issues either thank goodness!

Ok I def see what you're saying and he has beautiful teeth...maybe they just gap as babies so there is room for them to grow in??? Idunno. Did he has the attached frenulum too?

It looked like he did, and so I thought he would have gap too. My mom and virtually her whole side of the family has one, so I figured that's where it came from. I had spaced front teeth at 8, lol. IDK what happened.
