Why do some people only update when they are depressed?

Seems to be a trend, I need to shake this feeling.

But first, I need to figure out why I have this feeling.

Skimming news articles in my short time between work and masonry lab, I found this article on Handbags of Horror. The article features scary handbags and their horror movie counterparts. Certainly an amusing read.

I got an e-mail this morning about National Novel Writing Month, but I'm not sure if I'm going to join or not. I tried last year, but George and AE 100 mostly caused its demise.
