I'm making (made?) mint and lavender extracts using those herbs from our garden and some vodka. Haven't really had a chance to use them yet; we'll see how they turn out. They smell pretty good at any rate.

I've got a friend who likes to make aquavits (Vodka infusions); the horsradish one... man... that was an adventure! Black currant is a nice one :)

Whoa... I'm not sure what I'd do with horseradish liquor. I don't like Bloody Marys, so that just pretty much sounds like a potion used to take chrome of of old bumpers!

Brave and adventurous though. =)

Oh goodness!! Yes - thank you. The winner came in while I was in Japan, I was swamped, and it hasn't since made it back to the top of my brain... I will attempt to do something about this today!
