Finally! I'm free. it's been really hectic these past months: first I had to study for my exams, while doing so I got sick (just my luck, I couldn't study for a while) and then a whole week of exams, everyday. I finally finished last Saturday and, when I got home, I ate diner and was knocked out until Sunday at 12 in the morning, looks like I was

I like digital editions a lot because you can actually "test" the product without having to spend too much money and, if you like it, then you can buy it in print version. I guess I will end up buying Hidoku, I don't think I'll be able to resist. xD
I know what you mean with the teenage slang, the same thing happend to me with the spanish version of Doukyuusei, I was a bit put off because of the slang but it was a pretty OK translation overall. When it comes to english translations it usually doesn't bother me too much when it's too americanized or with too much slang because it's not my native language, so I don't really know the standard/neutral english; I've learnt english on my own so I've picked up things from here and there; I guess my english must be a real mess. xD

I'm looking forward to reading your opinion on the translation for KnB. :)

I don't know why the English translators have to add slang in the first place? I can't get my head around it tbh.. I guess it just is a part of the English language by now, but it still seems wrong when added to Japanese manga??? idk xD

Yes! I am hoping to actually read my copy of KnB to see what the translation is like. I am expecting slang in this for sure lmao but VIZ usually have good translations as long as they don't change the names of the GOM's bball power plays or Kagami's it should be a good read! I will get around to writing up my opinions as well! :)

¡Hola! Ayy, tardé mucho en pasar por acá, pero vi tu post ni bien lo subiste. Lo que pasa es que operaron a mi viejo el jueves pasado y todavía sigue internado. La operación salió bien pero estuvimos con mi vieja repartiéndonos los horarios de visita, así que me la pasé metida en el hospital. Si todo sale bien, mañana le dan el alta y le quedaría una operación más en un mes. Ya después, casi casi que podemos decir que va a estar curado

Pues no vas muy desencaminada con lo de Let it Go, la canto mucho y normalmente llevo una trenza como la de Elsa. ¿La monografía era un proyecto del master o del trabajo? La verdad es que no sé si te he preguntado alguna vez en qué trabajas ni nada, soy un desastre con las interacciones sociales, evidentemente.

¡Hola! Sí, la verdad es que estos días fueron cansadores, más que nada por el estrés. Ayer además doné sangre antes de que nos dieran el alta, así que quedé todo el día re cansada. Pero ya está todo bastante encaminado, por suerte, ahora tiene que comer mucho y reponerse para la próxima operación
