If any of you in Iowa City have nothing to do for the next three days, you can see a whole lot of me at the Picador starting tonight. I will be playing improvisational guitar tonight for the ICE Film festival, doing three minute ditties for three minute "home movie"-style films. It's free too! i forget how huge girl talk is sometimes.

do you know how any of this whole false charalambides show went down last night? or was it well known throughout the community that the band cancelled/rescheduled their tour for november with no iowa dates?

i don't get it, i e-mailed doug/chris and myspaced and all to no avail. the ads for them playing picador remained.

they cancelled Wednesday and rescheduled. chris is busy as a fuck so i'm guessing he just didn't have time or whatever. i think more people were interested in OTR since they haven't played an Iowa City show before.

not that it matters, but i talked to their agent at kork over a month ago and to tom carter both of whom were shocked to see it listed on thepicador.com, since they had rescheduled their tour quite some time ago.
