survey

Ok, so I'm doing a survey for my sermon Sunday night. Please feel free to leave me some comments that I might be able to read to my congregation.

Name a time you can remember in which God has really blessed your family. Why?

Thanks for your help!

Somehow, He kept my parents from getting divorced.

Hi I am just some random person but I thought I would stop and say this...

God has blessed my family more than I could ever say. He has givin us all the chance to keep my nephew, He has gotten a disease out of my genes, He has given me a place to call home. Even though I live 2 hours away from my family I still call home where my mom is. God gave me her and I couldnt have ever asked for more. She gave me the will power to live. She took me to God when I was lost. I have attempted sucicide twice, and God sent my mom in with the perfect things to say. I have never known the feeling of real love until God pulled my family together. He gave my family the ability to love for any reason. So simple to say God created my family and gave them to me, so that in its self is the best blessing I could have ever hoped for!

Sorry if I was being nosey, I just found this to be a good place to state that! Good luck with your serman! God be with you, as he seems to already be!

Andyi

It twas the year 2003.

With in 3 months me, my sister and my brother in law all became Christians, and now they have an amazing Christian family, and because of mine and my sisters relationship with God, my parents have started going to church again

I feel I have been blessed in many ways, but I would never attribute that to your concept of Christian 'God'. My belief is that everything happens beause of the choices we make in life. We start with many paths in front of us, and make a choice (concious or unconcious) in which path to take. I beleive in Karma, what goes around, comes around, and I beleive that there is proabbly some kind of higer force out there, but no one really knows what it is. We may be someones ant farm or perti dish for all we really know. Anyway, I dont cotribute the good things that happen in my life to any particular 'God', but rather to the result of the choices I have made in my past. I consider my children, my job, my relationships, and my divorce all blessings, and they are all choices I made in my life. Sorry to intrude on your blog space, I just thought you may want a different perspective to think about. Good luck on Sunday.

No, I appreciate your comments.

But, being a preacher, and a man who really loves Jesus and believes the bible is true, I have no other choice but to keep my persepctive.

But I do agree with a lot of what you said. Our choices that we make effect a lot of what happens in our life.

I don't feel like you intruded on my space.
