Yay for good vets!

My current vet is expensive, but so are all the others in the area. But, she listens to me, and trusts that I'm not an idiot. The office policy is to not speuter before 6 months, she let me get my monster done at 4 because she agreed that spaying feral rescues early is necessary. They usually keep speuter patients overnight, she let me take mine home as soon as she woke up since the vet trusted me to know if something was wrong and bring the fuzzball back in.

Oh man, your new vet is incredible! I wanna have this guy's not-babies, because I hear horror stories from some people about their vets! (And boy, from the sound of it, your old one is one of them...)

Glad to hear that the cats are in good condition!

Sounds like the new vet is a winner. Ours is like that. No extras, and what they do is not badly priced.

Sounds like Chrissy's ears are like Stormy's. Any little thing bothers Stormy, and her ears itch. Two years ago, Stormy got a yeast infection in her ear from fleas. o.O (Yes, I feel bad that she had fleas. It was EARLY spring and we hadn't put the Frontline on her yet.)

I'm glad you found a good vet. They're worth sticking with.

A good vet is worth her weight in GOLD. I always had vets guilting me about PsychoCat's weight and the cats' teeth and all of that. Then I went to a vet who specialized in cats, and she was SO GOOD with both of them, I just wanted to hug her.

Glad you got the mites taken care of! That can be a bad thing.
