I was late for work on Tuesday. I thought I'd probably used every single reason under the sun for being late in my life. But of course, I was wrong.

Don't feel bad! At one point I was convinced Scared Squirrel was dead and I felt just awful.

Yes, he was a pain being in the wheel, but I'm very glad he was healthy enough to run away and up the telephone poll to relative safety.

Oh yes, Scared Squirrel is fine. When I got home from work, I inspected around the property and the whole street and found no evidence of any squirrel foul play.

I think I saw Scared Squirrel on the electrical lines this afternoon.
