Cat toys and being cool

Finally, it's cool enough that I feel I can sit down at my computer for more than five minutes or so. We've had some roasting weather this summer, and even though my computer is in a well ventilated room, it still seemed to heat up the room so bad that I just didn't want to use it too often, for fear the room would become unbearable, especially

The toy was mailed out today!

Just so you know, I didn't send it priority, so the postage was less than five dollars. I was originally going to go with Priorty Mail, because they provided containers. However, the containers are sorta lousy and if anything heavy was put on them, they'd crush.

I realized today that if I sent them out First Class, I could mail them, and afford a stury cardboard tube to mail them in for just a bit over 5.00. To me, it seemed worth it to protect the toy. I hope this doesn't bother you.

If my cat were twelve years younger, I'd definitely volunteer; she was a horror with toys when she was an adolescent. Now, though...

Shaya: *blinks several times* There's a Thing dangling in front of me.

Me: Yes. It's a toy. You're meant to play with it.

Shaya: *takes lazy swipe at it with paw, then half closes eyes and plops down* Okay, done. Now get rid of that thing, would you? It's interrupting my mid-morning nap.

I don't know what postage will be yet. When I know, I will post it. I tried to get information from the post office, but due to the fact that it will be an unusual package (Long and thin) they can't give me any sort of idea.

A money order in the mail is just fine, if you feel you can afford to pay for the postage. I'm hoping it will be reasonable.
