It's been a long, LONG time since I've posted on LJ, (spending most of my time on FB instead), so I just thought I'd hop on here and give you all a recap of my life-changes this past couple of years

I don't post to Facebook or Twitter anymore. I do read, but what happens is LJ will post a link on both of them.

LJ got a lot "Cooler" when people found out that George RR Martin is another pre-facebook LJ user that also stayed here. Probably bringing in more users than anything else.
