What is that about? What genre is it? Mine is a fantasy.

It's actually the sixth in a series. It's for ages 12 and up, but I still love reading the teen books. Lol. This one (as well as the others) is about a group of girls-Massie, Claire, Kristen, Dylan, and Alicia otherwise known as The Pretty Commity. In this book, they get asked to audition for a movie in LA. Massie, the main girl who gets everything handed to her, loses the part to the "less cool" member, Claire. So Claire, gets to live the good life, and Massie is very jealous. Kristen's mother is over protective and won't let her go, so she gets to stay home and hang with Massie, Alicia, and Clare's boyfriends. Dylan wasn't invited to go along, so she gets stuck at home all alone, and Alicia gets a job on Dylan's mother's TV talk show. I love the series and this book even if it is geared for teenagers. :)
