Re the pic, I'm as big a fan of the naked female form as anyone else, but is there any chance of a cut (or at least a warning) next time there's gonna be naked pictures please, chica? Granted it's completely my fault for checking LJ at work but whilst that's usually fine, I'm not sure I would have wanted to risk my boss walking up behind me at that point...

My favorite piece by her is Four Women. It was the first I had ever heard and still stands out even after all these years. This was awesome thanks for sharing.

Nina is gorgeous, inside and out, and I thought the nude image so strong and tasteful and yes, statement-making about Black women and their bodies (in turn fetishized/underrepresented) that I had to include it. I like how it juxtaposes with the gown and heels image next to it, too.
Four Women is one of my all time favorites!!! Such masterful storytelling.
