Personality:
Hana Adachi is an ex-delinquent that wants very much to leave behind her old life and be a normal student. She leaves her family home without explanation in order to do so. Even when her younger brother requests that she return to succeed the family, she turns him down with no intention of going back to the kind of life that she lead before.
She's tough on her brother, but that seems to be the way that she expresses her love for him. She wants him to be a good kid, so she doesn't spoil him or let him get away with the bad things he's done. You even says that she's changed in the time that she's been gone, suggesting that in the past she must have been more accepting of his own delinquent lifestyle. That doesn't seem to be the case any longer, even though it is obviously causing her little brother a deal of distress that his big sister has changed so much.

Her little brother seems to be the only person she is so harsh with. Hana is very optimistic and her good nature shines through in all situations. As class rep and later as student council president she uses that optimism to always give her peers the benefit of a chance to redeem themselves and for them to become content with their student lives. The first that she reforms is classmate Daichi Shinagawa, who becomes her good friend.

She enlists in Mon Shiro high school hoping most importantly that she can make normal friends at a normal school. In order to prevent people from recognizing her as Hana Adachi the delinquent and being afraid of her, she disguises herself by wearing her long black hair in braids and by wearing a pair of glasses, despite her perfect vision. Although her character seems at first as though she might be the typical glasses-wearing manga character, that is far from the truth.

Most first impressions of Hana are that she is super airheaded. She does not get good grades (she even has to repeat a grade at one point) and often has trouble remembering names of people she meets and just doesn't seem to have much common sense. Even though she is quite hopeless in this sense, she tries her best and even hopes that she can get into college. And although Hana is maybe not the brightest, she is strangely insightful and attentive (she had kept notes on the students of Mon Shiro while she was student council president- paying extra close attention to anyone who might be troubled). Her grades are poor but it doesn't mean she has a bad student life. Hana starts off as class representative and from there moves to become a well liked and very dedicated student body president during her second year.

Not only does she break the archetypal role of the megane character by being horribly ditzy- she also has a physical strength that defies the character stereotype as well. As a delinquent she was a very good fighter and she hasn't lost the ability since she gave up the delinquent lifestyle. She resists fighting as much as she can but will not hold back when her friends are in trouble or being treated poorly by other delinquents.

Her transformation from Hana Adachi the delinquent to just Hana Adachi is marked when she gives up her disguise during her senior year. In her time at Mon Shiro high she has made lots of good friends and has helped lots of her fellow students thanks to the personal dedication to her peers and her good attitude. Hana has her doubts, thinking that if she gives up her disguise then people still be afraid of her- as if all the hard work she had done the past two years was for nothing. The help of Daichi Shinagawa is what gives her the confidence to take off her glasses and undo her braids when he says "You're you!" Hana is no longer defined by her past as a delinquent but as a normal and friendly and helpful and usually kind of weird Mon Shiro High School student.

Extra:
Character Abilities: No fancy magic abilities or something, but Hana is very physically capable. She's a good fighter and her trademark is a strong kick.
Possessions: Hana doesn't own anything so significant that she would bring it with her.
Anything else: I don't think there's anything else!

Wishes, huh? If it's a wishes this city wants, then Hana is happy to have hers granted! The girl is filled to the brim with little hopes and dreams and a little help in making them come true would sure be great.

To start off? One big feast please, with enough yummy food to feed the entire city! Everyone has to be invited to join in. Actually? No, not only is everyone invited but in fact they are obligated to attend! What a great wish that would be.

Wait. No. Hana knows better than to wish for something silly like that. Shinagawa-kun and the others said she shouldn't make any more food related requests. It's too bad, because a feast would have been a good opportunity to get to know all the people she'll meet here in this exciting new city. She'd bet that even Daichi would have had a good time.

Maybe this magic city will be smart enough to grant that wish without having to attempt to produce enough food that could fill Hana's bottomless stomach. She's excited to be here, not because she has so many wishes that she needs fulfilled, but because it's a new opportunity to make new friends. And to be honest, that's the wish Hana truly hopes can be granted. There's no food so delicious that could make Hana as satisfied as when she can make fun memories with good friends.
