I Had A Dream

Have you ever had one of those dreams where you go to class in your underwear or you end up in a test you haven't studied for? Not that the latter ever happens to me, but I had one of those dreams when I passed out last night after chatting with Ti and Eeva while watching a marathon of Mythbusters. The last thing I remember seeing was one of the ( Read more... )

Your parents also thought you'd play hockey too... but Eeva did always feel awkward about how much your mom seems to want her to be 'the daughter she never had'. XD What do you say to that? "I don't know that your son is going to marry me, what are you going to do, keep him drugged for a few years and just let him wake up married with kids?"

I actually think I saw a movie along those lines one time. Not sure. I was cramming for a test and it was playing as background noise, so I may have just been hallucinating.

Yeah, they did think I would end up playing hockey, didn't they? It was kind of a "You don't have to be big as long as you can skate well!" sort of thing. It was before beign proficient with technology and sciences became profitable, I guess.

My Ema always did like having Eeva around. I think it was because Raivis and I didn't provide much of a feminine atmosphere or something. Ye gods! Don't suggest anything to her about drugging me and setting me up for a wife and kids, because she will serisouly do it!

Is your Ema this nuts? I mean. I love her to bits, but on some level I think that she MIGHT JUST be crazy enough to pull something like that on you. I mean, does she know about Raivis and Peter and their relationship? I hope she doesn't see you as her last chance for biological grandchildren or something...

I don't think she knows about them. It probably slipped under her radar as "harmless childhood friends" sort of thing. As far as I remember, I think Peter came with Raivis one year when we went back home too.

My Ema is very sweet and I love her to bits, but she's getting baby crazy since she can't have any more of her own. With all my technical speech and good grades I think she forgets that I'm only 17 and it's a little early to be adding to the overburdened human population yet. I just think my parents are a lot more oblivious when it comes to me than yours are with you in these matters. My vanavanemad though...I think if they saw me now, they would be able to see right through me.

At least if it's robots that we have to deal with I feel fairly confident that I can use my knowledge of their workings to sufficiently deal with the problem. I know the ins and outs of zombie combat in theory, but when does one ever get the chance to actually put it into practice?

That's what happens when you live alone. Things tend to collect because there's really nobody to have to impress with a clean space. Most of the collected objects aren't entirely needed, so start putting some of the neater items up on eBay and the rest (old clothes, etc) I can simply take to the second hand store.

MOOMINS! God I love the Moomintrolls. They should be better embraced internationally. They're just as cute if not cuter than that American mouse. ;w;
