Moments after Gilbert assured Eduard that they would have enough time to themselves, one of the chateau staff members emerged onto the deck. Eduard immediately froze like Han in carbonite and was beyond glad, for his sake and the sake of the poor girl who had interrupted them, that the bubbling jets made it impossible to see underneath the water.
