Broken Bases-the nature of fandoms

See, I'm a member of many fandoms, but only a few of them I truly have investment in. Almost all fandoms have what TVTropes calls "a broken base" aka a critical issue that divides the fandom almost irreparably

Also Neville/Hannah should have been in the books :) Yes, the fiver makes a cohesive developing line of characters who suddenly forget everything what they were about showing signs of learning nothing from the past adventures. I have to stop now before rant....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes both new and old Simpsons. That probably has to do with the fact that I'm a young whippersnapper who only started watching the show last year, although I've seen both new and classic episodes. The older ones are a lot better, but I still enjoy the new ones and I'd be really sad if it got cancelled *shrug*
