Speculation: if there was a Big Bang out there that assigned you an author (me), what fanfiction would you like me to write for you at 50,000+ words?

Be as detailed as you like: characters, pairings, threesomes, fandom, genre, theme, plot, setting, historical period...this is an exercise for your imagination and you wouldn't have to write it ( Read more... )

Well now, seeing as how you've teased me a bit in previous posts about it:

I'd love to see you write a Roy/Tim story that details the ways in which they end up being the fathers of what would necessarily be the most precocious child: Jack. It could even be told in a style a'la "How I Met Your Mother". Perhaps Roy, or better yet, older sister Lian, is sitting down to tell Jack the story of Roy and Tim. How they came together, and then, how Jack became a member of the family. Because it would most certainly be awesome, epic, and so emotionally driven. :D

I imagine there'd be a lot drama, perhaps some reluctance on Tim's part (or Roy's), maybe an injury in battle that makes one or both of them shape up, and perhaps an interesting story of how Jack came to be (adoption? Surrogacy? Mpreg?)! There's so much to work with, and though I know you won't necessarily make this as a big bang, I do hope you tackle this story one day. Because you whetted my appetite! :D

"smiles and looks innocent" Me a tease? Why, would tease you with the fact that I'm thinking giving it the title of 'Wish Child', though I think that's a stupid title so I'll probably change it.

Hmm 'Baby Mine'? does that sound less stupid?

I'm a bit meh on "Wish Child"...unless it was translated into Navajo? That might be really cool then (and perhaps somehow work into the story?). "Baby Mine" is a good alternative. I think it is a decent hook...

But what do I know, I hate titling. Creating titles and ending the damn story/chapter/whatever are things I struggle with consistantely. Usually I just end up going with a line from a song or a song title, or some play off of those things, for my titles. ::shrugs:: It's worked okay for me I guess.

I really was only considering 'Wish Child' due to how Jack is "conceived" since he is both Roy's and Tim's child. Though I do like the idea of it being in Navajo - hadn't thought of that.

Oh well still a lot of time to come up with a title. :D

*big grin* Fun one!

Let's see, I'd love to see you do a Jason/Tim Big Bang, say one where they're in an established relationship and something happens that separates them. The story would be how they overcome the thing separating them (a disagreement? a battle? family making their lives impossible?) and come back together again stronger and more content for having won each other again. I think you'd do a great job on it!

Oooh now that would be a fun story to do. A big fight over something and then I can see them both going off and cooling down and then realizing they made a big mistake and then we'll see what they do to get each other back.

Great idea hon. Thanks!

I'd love to see you write a Trinity fic in which they interact not only as superheroes but as friends, doing things like the lunch prompt I gave you awhile back, and building their relationship to the strong one we see today. Hmm, perhaps flashback to the beginning of their friendship and maybe tie it in to some mission in the present. And if you added a side dish of Steve/Diana, I wouldn't object! ;)

BTW, I wouldn't mind seeing something like this even if non-Big Bang length! ;)

A trinity fic would be great to do. And I love flashbacks in stories and then adding in the love interests and even the kids into it would be a lot of fun.

Thanks so much for the idea. :)
