Alfred is eternally wise, and it's a good thing that Jason listened to him! You did a wonderful job portraying the way Jason's grief made him react to Tim's ascent to the thrown. I like the parallels he drew between Tim and Bruce to make him see, perhaps, the error in his thinking. Of course, the guiding hand of Alfred never hurts either!

Terrific character piece on Jason in this 'verse. Gives us great insight into his position and his thoughts/emotions on the situation he finds himself in. Very well done!

Everyone listens to Alfred if they are smart. I'm glad Jason's grief was coming through. The flow was getting all choppy . . but I think I finally got it okay.

Even through his grief Jason could see the similaries between Bruce and Tim, he just needed Alfred to help out.

I'm so glad you liked this part. :D

I love this universe, I love how beautifully you write this, this could be original fiction and it's still so DC.

Just one sentence was a bit odd to me.

"An act that anywhere else would have landed him in the dungeons any place else."

Do you need both any else?

Oh thank you so much. You know I had thought of dropping the DC influence on this but then I kind of chickened out besides I thought it would be easier to keep the DC influence with the up romantic (or not so romantic in some cases) relationships that Tim will be faced with.

And thank you for pointing that out to me, the second one definitely wasn't needed and has been fixed.

You know, you can rewrite the DC out once you get more comfortable. I won't tell if you won't! I'm thinking of taking a character to help you, because it's so fun.

And thanks for not being mad, I wasn't sure if you wanted that!

What a beautiful story!
