Papa Johns uses rennet free mozzarella on their pizzas. Their parm has rennet. No more parmesan breadsticks for me, but their regular breadsticks are vegan.
Price hasn't been relevant. Some of the most expensive cheese I've ever seen had it, and some of the cheapest did too. Kraft uses it. Among all the mid priced cheeses, I'd say that the ones that don't use it might be more expensive by a few cents, but they are also the "certified organic" cheeses. I'm not sure that the price difference is at all related to the lack of rennet, or if it is related to the vogue "organic" label.
