I don't think I could have expected a better adaptation. This is probably as good as anyone could have expected it to be and better than most did. The only problem: Dr Manhattan's Mascot. When you see it, you'll know what I mean.

I didn't mind it that much, but there were points where I feel the nudity was more of a stunt than a tool, if you'll pardon the pun. The problem was only exacerbated when I saw that they didn't show the slow detachment from clothing in flashbacks as a symbol of his growing separation from humanity.
