I may be only a simple country boy but I am somewhat edjumacated. :-) I can even used obscure words, like schaudenfreude, in context. Let's see. Hmm. How about this:

"Pauline could barely keep from gleefully telling him "I told you so!" afterwards. Schaudenfreude, she reflected, is one of the most pleasant but least noble of human emotions."

i wasn't bemoaning your vocabulary skills, m'dear! i was bemoaning everyone ELSE'S! i KNOW you are an educated lad, hehe... that's why you have a wifey who's educated AND has a vocabulary quite vast of her own! neither of you would be satisfied w/ less :)
