Updates in the Key of Fil

Every now and then I find myself having moments of mental separation. At least, that's what I call it, brief moments where my brain steps back and absorbs the situation I'm in, a sort of conscious awareness and surreal observation of "Is that really you talking? That's your hand holding that glass. Where is your train of through going ( Read more... )

Great to see you today at the Spar-b-que. You need to get out more often with the gang.

If you happen to have room for one more in any Earthdawn game I'd love to try and get in. I've only played a couple times, that huge game StRandom started at the Hermitage.

I have come to the determination that Facebook is a gigantic waste of time and shall have none of it. I'll probably still check it out from time to time, and link my Fragments from the Rim posts to it, but not much else. If you need me, call me or drop an email. Don't assume I'll get it through Facebook.

Yeah, I'm pretty much with you right there.

Bummer I didn't get to hang and thug a bit with you on Sunday, but well, social drama is what it is.

Some of it stems from the occasional overwhelming fear that one day in the hopefully far flung future the cosmic awareness of my mind will cease to exist, and that honestly scares the ever loving crap out of me.

Hey, that's the type of thing that keeps me up at night, too! Hooray death of awareness panic attacks!

...wait, not hooray at ALL!

But hooray vacation! That's the BEST!

Social Drama...I feel that I have missed something, perhaps monumental, perhaps not. But something none the less.

Panic!...awesome! Not the only one! Woot! ...wait...

Yeah, it's a thing. I'll yack about it sometime when I'm feeling whiny and self indulgent. ;)

Aaaand yeah, seriously, that's the type of panic which literally keeps me up at night sometimes. Erg!

Every time someone talks about your bike, I keep hearing John Clese shout "Albatross!"

You shall have to ride it's motley ass up here some day. Rt 62 can be very lovely this time of the year.

It's amazing how, even apart as we all are, we still have the same train of thought at times.

Hooray familiar awareness.

I've come to the realization that it's not that we are all busy every weekend, it's that someone we want to hang with as a group always has something every weekend, so we can't get everyone we want on any particular day.

I think it may be time to accept this fact, and plan accordingly. Hanging out with some people is better than not hanging out at all.

Heh.

you're trying to read the PDF books on the iTouch? The little 3 inch screen? Can't say I'm too shocked. Are they readable on the tablet in the house?
