Well, I figure if going to Walt Disney World isn't "lj-worthy", then nothing is. I also figured that it is time for me to get technically savvy with this thing.
So "Be Prepared" to be taken to...
So we left Monday night for a 12 hour bus ride. Enough said.
Tuesday we went straigt to Animal Kingdom, which made for a rather uncomfortable time, but still fun. Some highlights of Animal Kingdom include riding the exciting, and technically fascinating: Expedition Everest
We also saw "It's Tough To Be A Bug" inside of the Tree of Life.
This 3-D movie was somewhat of a redeeming experience for me (when I was younger, I ran from the theater screaming).
Later that day, we went to MGM Studios and ate lunch, and saw lots of rides/shows such as Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Muppet Vision 3-D, Magic of Disney Animation, and others. That night we went over to EPCOT and saw Illuminations, which was amazing! Then some people decided to go back to the hotel and me and about 12 other people stayed in EPCOT. We went and rode Mission: Space. WOW, that ride was awesome! The simulations of launching in a space shuttle from Earth and orbiting Mars was awesome (aside from the fact that I thought my body was going to be crushed, and I was too scared to breathe).
Also while we were at EPCOT we walked around the World Showcase. One of my favorite countries was Morocco, I never realized how much stuff was actually there!
We spent a 1.5 days in Magic Kingdom, and we got a lot done! We saw everything except for "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and "The Hall of Presidents". Some of my favorite attractions were The Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, and all of the "Mountains". We also got to see Aladdin with the Genie and Jasmine, and Peter Pan and Wendy.
I'm not quite sure what else to say without writing a book.
Overall, it was an amazing trip, and I'm glad I got to go with all my friends.
Oh yeah...Dorothy is right..."There's no place like home."
