I was shocked to see that this happened right here in BC. Fer gawd's sakes, women can be publically TOPLESS anywhere men can be publically topless according to the Canadian Bill of Rights, the comfort of the squeamish be damned. That's even when there are no feeding babies involved. These store employees are taking it upon themselves to enforce something (if that's even the right word) that the local police will not even enforce any longer, because they've lost in court too often.
Which reminds me, I haven't been topless enough this summer. Probably because it hasn't felt like summer. I need to get out more...

"i am still breastfeeding my *excessively* healthy 16mo old daughter. on the occasions i breastfeed her in public, i keep a clean, pretty pink recieving blanket handy. if someone is offended by the sight of my daughter being fed, i hand them the blanket and tell them to put it over their head."
