I hate shoulders!

The latest development in the ongoing saga of the weight training injury I got back in October is that the motherfucker still isn't better. It has this nasty habit of popping very loudly when I'm doing something that would strain it, followed by a sharp pain that turns into soreness that lasts a couple days before disappearing ( Read more... )

Ew, definitely sounds like your shoulder wants to dislocate. Good move on going to see a doctor you trust. My brother had various shoulder injuries that he self-treated or only semi-treated. Then one day he was at work, went to pull a lever, and his arm pretty much just fell out of the socket. He'd dislocated it badly, and needed to have surgery to fix it. Taking it easy may annoy you for now, but in the long run you may be able to avoid invasive surgery. Hope it feels better :/
