I have decided that you should get a job with the Humane Society somehow. Except I think you might fall in love with too many animals and want to take them all home. It would also be a job where you would see some heartbreaking stuff. Could you handle it knowing that you couldn't save them all, but it would be worth it for the ones you could?
There's the rub. I would love to help the animals, but I don't know if I would be okay with the horrors that are out there... I have to really think about that.
Yes, I'm still working for the contractor (DESI) for Job Corps that helps 16-24 year-olds get not only their high school diploma, but get a job and social skills training. It's a great idea in theory and works with most of the young people. But this area, as well as parts of WA as well, it just doesn't work and it's very, very frustrating. I want to walk up to the kid with the baggy drawers and shake him/her, saying, "This is why I'm hot. I'm hot 'cos I'm fly. You ain't 'cos you not." And then I think I have a degree in freakin' English & Comparative Literature. I end the day with and "aye carumba."
You're aliiiiive! I've missed you SOOO much. Saw that you called last night while I was at my brother's birthday dinner. I'll try to ring you back tonight. LOVEYOULOVEYOU! H
LOVE YOU, darnit. Thank you so much for sending the pic of Jamison via phone today. I shared it with Brandoni and he smiled, too. Give that boy a big hug! OK, and Dan, too. :)
